Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is hiring a friendly Food and Beverage Team Member for Moorlands Lodge Care Home in Surrey. This role supports dining services and assists residents with meals, with full-time 37.5 hours per week or part-time 24 hours per week.

A DBS check is required and eligibility to work in the UK must be provided. You will help residents choose meals, maintain dining areas, and ensure dietary requirements are respected while upholding high hygiene and service standards in a caring,

Qualifications

• Demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene.
• Experience in a similar setting, restaurant, or hotel desirable.
• A basic Food Hygiene Certificate would be beneficial.
• Demonstrate compassion and commitment to residents' culinary services.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with choosing meal options when dining.
• Set dining tables and uphold standard operating procedures.
• Keep front of house clean, tidy, and well-presented; replenish crockery.
• Ensure fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are available in the Bistro and replenish finger food and fruit.
• Be aware of residents' dietary requirements.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as a Food and Beverage Team Member is to support the dining service and assist residents with their meals.

Other responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the residents with choosing their meal options when dining.
• Ensuring that the standard operating procedures set dining tables.
• Keeping the front of the house clean, tidy, and well-presented and ensuring dirty crockery is removed and replenished throughout the day.
• Ensure fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are accessible in the bistro areas and replenished throughout the day, as well as finger food and fresh fruit options.
• Being aware of resident’s dietary requirements.
