Job summary

Avery Healthcare is seeking a warm Food and Beverage Team Member for Fleet Hall Care Home in Fleet to support the dining service and assist residents with meals. You will help residents choose meals, set tables, and maintain a clean, welcoming front-of-house environment.

As part of our team, you’ll ensure dietary needs are respected, keep cakes and finger foods available, and uphold high hygiene standards. DBS check is required and cost borne by Avery; successful candidates must be eligible to

Qualifications

• Demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene.
• Experience in a similar setting, restaurant, or hotel desirable.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate beneficial.
• Demonstrate compassion and commitment to residents’ dining services.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with choosing meal options at dining times.
• Set dining tables according to SOPs.
• Keep front of house clean, tidy, and well-presented; clear and replenish crockery.
• Ensure fresh cakes/biscuits and finger foods are available in the bistro areas.
• Be aware of residents’ dietary requirements.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as a Food and Beverage Team Member is to support the dining service and assist residents with their meals.

Other responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the residents with choosing their meal options when dining.
• Ensuring that the standard operating procedures set dining tables.
• Keeping the front of the house clean, tidy, and well-presented and ensuring dirty crockery is removed and replenished throughout the day.
• Ensure fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are accessible in the bistro areas and replenished throughout the day, as well as finger food and fresh fruit options.
• Being aware of residents dietary requirements.
