Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a warm and dedicated Food and Beverage Team Member for Fleet Hall Care Home in Fleet. You will support dining services and assist residents with meals, helping them choose options and ensuring meals are served with care and kindness.

You will uphold high hygiene standards, be mindful of residents' dietary requirements, and maintain a clean, welcoming dining area. DBS disclosure checks and eligibility to work in the UK are required and will be met by Avery.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene.
• Experience in a similar setting, restaurant, or hotel is desirable.
• A basic Food Hygiene Certificate would be beneficial.
• Demonstrate compassion and commitment to the delivery of culinary services to residents.

Responsibilities

• Support dining service and assist residents with meals.
• Assist residents with choosing meal options.
• Set dining tables according to SOP.
• Keep front of house clean and presentable and clear and replenish crockery.
• Ensure fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are available in the bistro and replenish finger foods and fruit.
• Be aware of residents' dietary requirements.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as a Food and Beverage Team Member is to support the dining service and assist residents with their meals.

• Supporting the residents with choosing their meal options when dining.
• Ensuring that the standard operating procedures set dining tables.
• Keeping the front of the house clean, tidy, and well-presented and ensuring dirty crockery is removed and replenished throughout the day.
• Ensure fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are accessible in the bistro areas and replenished throughout the day, as well as finger food and fresh fruit options.
• Being aware of resident’s dietary requirements.
