Job summary

Avery Healthcare is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Food and Beverage Team Member for Winchester Heights Care Home in Hampshire. You’ll support the dining service and assist residents with meals, contributing to a caring, high-quality dining experience.

Responsibilities include helping residents choose meals, setting tables to SOP, keeping the dining area tidy, and ensuring fresh cakes, biscuits, finger foods and fruit are available. DBS check required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar setting, restaurant or hotel preferred.
• High standards of personal hygiene.
• Basic Food Hygiene certificate is beneficial.
• Compassionate and committed to delivering culinary services to residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with choosing meals.
• Set dining tables in accordance with SOP.
• Keep front of house clean, tidy and well-presented; clear and replenish crockery.
• Ensure fresh cakes/biscuits are available in the bistro and replenish finger foods and fruit.
• Be mindful of residents' dietary requirements.

We’re now looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award-winning team as a Food and Beverage Team Member at Winchester Heights Care Home in Hampshire.

About The Role

Your focus as a Food and Beverage Team Member is to support the dining service and assist residents with their meals.

Other Responsibilities Will Include

• Supporting the residents with choosing their meal options when dining.
• Ensuring that the standard operating procedures set dining tables.
• Keeping the front of the house clean, tidy, and well-presented and ensuring dirty crockery is removed and replenished throughout the day.
• Ensure fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are accessible in the bistro areas and replenished throughout the day, as well as finger food and fresh fruit options.
• Being aware of resident’s dietary requirements.

• Demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene
• Having experience working in a similar setting, restaurant, or hotel would be desirable
