Job summary

Avery Healthcare is seeking a warm and dedicated Food and Beverage Team Member for Beaconsfield Heights Care Home in Beaconsfield. You will support dining services and help residents with meals, ensuring a welcoming, clean front-of-house and adherence to dietary needs.

The role emphasizes compassion, high hygiene standards, and teamwork in a caring, award-winning environment. DBS check will be funded by Avery.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene.
• Experience in a similar setting, restaurant or hotel would be desirable.
• A basic Food Hygiene Certificate would be beneficial.
• Demonstrate compassion and commitment to the delivery of culinary services to residents.

Responsibilities

• Support the dining service and assist residents with their meals.
• Assist with choosing meal options for residents.
• Set tables according to standard operating procedures.
• Keep the front of house clean, tidy and well-presented; replenish crockery as needed.
• Ensure fresh homemade cakes, biscuits, finger foods and fruit are available in the Bistro areas.
• Be aware of residents' dietary requirements.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as a Food and Beverage Team Member is to support the dining service and assist residents with their meals.

Other responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the residents with choosing their meal options when dining.
• Ensuring that the standard operating procedures set dining tables.
• Keeping the front of the house clean, tidy, and well-presented and ensuring dirty crockery is removed and replenished throughout the day.
• Ensure fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are accessible in the bistro areas and replenished throughout the day, as well as finger food and fresh fruit options.
• Being aware of resident’s dietary requirements.
