Pioneer Selection Ltd seeks an experienced Production Manager / Business Unit Manager for a fast-paced FMCG site in Newport. You will own a production unit and drive improvements, spending ~70% on the shop floor with a focus on output, quality and safety.

The role offers a £50,000 - £55,000 salary (DOE) plus a P&L bonus, with generous benefits and development opportunities as the business continues its investment in machinery and manufacturing capabilities.

Competenze

• Need hands-on production management in FMCG/food manufacturing.
• Experience leading production teams, focusing on output, quality, safety and performance.
• Desirable safety qualifications (Food Safety Level 3, IOSH, NEBOSH) and PLC familiarity.

Mansioni

• Take ownership of a production unit and meet targets on output, quality, safety and efficiency.
• Spend ~70% on the shop floor coaching staff and driving improvements.
• Deputise for Operations Manager when required and develop Shift Managers.
