Job summary

Wallace Hind Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager in Basingstoke to own production operations. You will lead a small direct team and an indirect workforce, coordinating with supply-chain, warehousing and quality teams to deliver safe, efficient production in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

The role requires hands-on leadership on the shop floor, strong data-driven decision making (OEE, KPIs), and a focus on continuous improvement and food safety.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Production/Manufacturing Manager in fast-paced manufacturing or FMCG.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills with a clear career pathway development.
• Hands-on problem-solving on the shop floor and in planning meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead production operations, planning, scheduling, capacity, and KPI management.
• Oversee engineering and maintenance, ppm scheduling, and asset management.
• Drive health, safety & compliance across the production operation.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities in processes and SOPs.
