Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking a Production Manager / Business Unit Manager for a fast-paced FMCG site in Newport. You will own a production unit, lead a team on the shop floor, and drive improvements to increase capacity from 50,000 to 100,000 units per day while ensuring quality and safety.

The role involves coaching staff, resolving issues, and acting as deputy to the Operations Manager when needed. Salary £50,000–£55,000 DOE with P&L bonus potential and 31 days holiday.

Qualifications

• Production management experience within FMCG/food manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience managing production teams and driving output, quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Own one site production unit and meet targets for output, quality and safety.
• Lead and develop Shift Managers and production team.
• Act as deputy to Operations Manager when required and drive improvements on the shop floor.
