Qualifikationen

• Engineering qualification in mechanical/electrical or multi‑skilled maintenance engineering.
• Proven maintenance technician/engineer experience in production/manufacturing/FMCG.
• Strong fault-finding across mechanical/electrical/pneumatic systems.
• Experience with PPM systems and maintenance record‑keeping.
• Understanding of health and safety requirements for maintenance work (LOTO, permit‑to‑work).

Aufgaben

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on production machinery in line with schedules.
• Respond to breakdowns and complete lasting repairs to minimise downtime.
• Diagnose faults across mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems.
• Carry out machine setting and changeovers to support production schedules.
• Maintain records and logs for planned and reactive work.
• Carry out general facilities maintenance, including building fabric and lighting.
• Coordinate external contractors for servicing and inspections.
• Monitor spare parts stock and liaise with suppliers.
• Follow safety procedures including permit‑to‑work and LOTO.
• Support regulatory checks (LOLER, PUWER, PAT, fire safety).
• Report hazards and maintain a clean, safe workshop.
• Assist root cause analysis and install/commission new equipment.
