Job summary

NPR Recruit seeks a Maintenance Engineer (FMCG) with Mechanical and Electrical expertise to join a global engineering automation business. The role is site-based, offering career progression and ongoing training within a supportive multi-skilled team.

Responsibilities include completing repairs, diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, maintaining production flow, and ensuring on-site spares levels are adequate.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 or apprenticeship-trained Electrical, Mechanical or ONC/HNC.
• Experience in FMCG, automation, manufacturing or production environments.
• Basic PLC fault-finding knowledge in/outs.

Responsibilities

• Complete all repairs.
• Diagnosis of Mechanical/Electrical faults and repairs.
• React positively to faults to minimise downtime.
• Ensure flow of production at all times.
• Ensure on-site spares are kept to the required level.
• Support site maintenance within a site-based team and utilise automation system.

The right Maintenance Engineer (FMCG) will support site maintenance and repairs within a site-based team environment, utilising a purpose-built automation system. Complete all servicing on a variety of automation equipment

• Complete all repairs
• Diagnosis of Mechanical/Electrical faults and repairs
• React positively to any faults
• Ensure flow at all times
• Ensure on-site spares are kept to the required level
• A successful multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer (FMCG) will ideally have experience in an FMCG, automation, manufacturing, or production environment.
• NVQ 3 or apprenticeship-trained Electrical, Mechanical or ONC, HNC.
• Basic PLC fault-finding knowledge in/outs
