Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection LTD is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to own production operations across a double-shift in a multi-site FMCG environment. You will lead a team of 3 direct and 30 indirect reports, coordinating with engineering and QA to deliver safe, efficient production.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, KPI-driven management, and driving continuous improvement in food manufacturing. A UK driving licence and experience with MES systems are desirable.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Production Manager or Manufacturing Manager in FMCG.
Experience leading multi-skilled teams and managing production/MES systems.
Strong leadership, planning and data-driven decision making.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to operate across two nearby sites.

Responsibilities

Lead production operations and plan through Production Manager.
Oversee engineering, maintenance and CI across the department.
Drive Health & Safety and regulatory compliance.
Coach, mentor and develop the team; manage KPI performance.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, SOPs and lean practices.
