Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd in Lancashire has a fantastic opportunity for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing site. You will work on high-speed production lines, carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance to keep downtime to a minimum.

The role requires fault-finding, preventative maintenance, and a proactive approach to reliability. Monday to Friday days shift, competitive salary up to £40,000, and a benefits package including pension, life insurance,

Qualifications

• Electrical maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Hands-on pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast-paced factory.
• Recognised electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical maintenance experience (motors, gearboxes, bearings, pneumatics and hydraulics).
• Basic PLC fault-finding experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance on automated production machinery.
• Fault finding and planned preventative maintenance to maximise uptime.
• Support production performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
