Blexity is seeking a motivated Business Development Executive for the premium FMCG sector in the UK. You will manage a portfolio across the Midlands and East Anglia, balancing account management with new business development while building trusted relationships with retailers.

The role is remote/field-based with regular travel, offering comprehensive training and a clear path to uncapped commission. Basic salary sits with benefits and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' sales experience within the FMCG sector.
• Proven track record in account management and business development.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Problem-solving skills with a solutions-focused approach
• Able to build enduring relationships founded on trust and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a premium FMCG client portfolio across the Midlands and East Anglia regions.
• Account management (80%) and new business development (20%).
• Develop trusted partnerships with decision-makers including store managers to purchasing teams.
• Identify growth opportunities, implement effective sales strategies, and ensure exceptional customer service throughout the client journey.
• Regular territory travel to maintain face-to-face relationships with existing clients.
• Developing new business opportunities within the geographical area.
