Blexity is seeking a motivated Business Development Executive to manage a premium FMCG client portfolio across the Midlands and East Anglia, driving growth with retailers and store networks.

You will split time between account management and new business development, travel regularly to meet decision-makers, and work with field-based teams to deliver exceptional service and achieve ambitious targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' sales experience within the FMCG sector.
• Proven track record in account management and business development.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Problem-solving skills with a solutions-focused approach.
• Able to build enduring relationships founded on trust and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a premium FMCG client portfolio across the Midlands and East Anglia.
• Account management (80%) and new business development (20%).
• Develop trusted partnerships with decision-makers including store managers to purchasing teams.
• Identify growth opportunities, implement effective sales strategies, and ensure exceptional customer service throughout the client journey.
• Regular territory travel to maintain face-to-face relationships with existing clients.
• Developing new business opportunities within the geographical area.
