Job summary

Ersilia is seeking a Business Development Executive to expand a premium FMCG client portfolio across the Midlands and East Anglia from a remote, field-based position. The role balances account management with new business development, building partnerships with store managers and purchasing teams, and driving growth through proactive sales strategies.

With a basic salary of £28k and uncapped commission (OTE £45k+), you will travel regularly, receive a company car (hybrid), an iPhone and iPad,

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' sales experience within the FMCG sector.
• Proven track record in account management and business development.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Problem-solving skills with a solutions-focused approach.
• Able to build enduring relationships founded on trust and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Account management (80%) and new business development (20%).
• Develop a premium FMCG client portfolio across the Midlands and East Anglia regions.
• Develop trusted partnerships with decision-makers including store managers to purchasing teams.
• Identify growth opportunities, implement sales strategies, and ensure exceptional customer service throughout the client journey.
• Regular territory travel to maintain face-to-face relationships with existing clients.
• Developing new business opportunities within the geographical area.
