Job summary

Delta Wellbeing Ltd. is seeking a Childcare Leader for a maternity cover post in Trimsaran, Wales, to join the Flying Start team. The role focuses on providing high quality, play-based childcare for 2-3 year olds within our childcare settings.

The position requires Level 5 Welsh language fluency and entails DBS checks. The post is pro-rated for part-time conditions if applicable, with salary based on an hourly rate (£16.62–£18.85) as described.

Qualifications

  • Enhanced DBS check required for the role.
  • Level 5 Welsh language fluency required to communicate with colleagues and families.
  • Maternity cover contract based in Trimsaran.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high quality childcare for children aged 2-3 years through play-based learning.
  • Work as part of the Childcare team in one of the settings under Flying Start.
  • Ensure safeguarding and welfare of children in line with policy and procedures.
