Job summary

Pertemps North Midlands is seeking a committed Warehouse Operative with a valid FLT Counterbalance licence to join a busy Burton site. You will drive the FLT/PPT, assist with picking, palletising and light warehouse admin, while supporting with on-site duties.

This role offers rotating or fixed afternoon shifts, a pay rate of £14.03–£14.20 per hour with a monthly attendance bonus, and a clear path to long-term progression through industry-leading training and development.

Qualifications

• In-date accredited FLT Counterbalance (B1) licence with at least 12 months driving experience.
• Reach and/or VNA licences are advantageous but not essential.
• Willingness to work additional hours and support with off-truck duties.
• Attention to detail and being a team player are essential.
• Willing to pass a drug and alcohol test before start.

Responsibilities

• Operate FLT Counterbalance and PPT to move pallets and pick orders.
• Assist with palletising, rework and basic logistics administration.
• Support with manual handling tasks and general warehouse duties.

We are seeking a committed, hardworking Warehouse Operative with a FLT Counterbalance licence to join a busy 3rd party logistics operation in Burton. You will be responsible for acting as a dedicated forklift / PPT driver as well as supporting with manual duties including picking, palletising, rework and some basic logistics admin duties.

Whilst the workload will increase on the run up to Christmas, there is absolutely the opportunity to secure a long-term career with industry leading training and personal development.

What we will require:

• In-date accredited FLT Counterbalance (B1) licence, with ideally at least 12 months driver experience
• Additional licences / MHE experience on Reach and/or VNA would be useful but not essential
• Willingness to support with additional hours
• Flexible to support with physical, off-truck duties
• Good attention to detail, team player
• Willingness to pass a drug & alcohol test prior to commencement

Hours of work - (rotating weekly) or a fixed afternoon shift at another site paying £14.20 per hour + monthly attendance bonus

Rate of pay - £14.03 per hour (reviewed annually)
