Job summary

Pertemps Bond in Burton are seeking a committed Warehouse Operative with an FLT Counterbalance licence to join a busy 3rd party logistics operation.

You will drive the FLT, assist with picking, palletising, rework and light admin duties, with overtime opportunities and a clear pathway to a long-term career through industry training.

Qualifications

• In-date FLT Counterbalance licence (B1) with ideally at least 12 months driver experience.
• Reach and/or VNA licences would be useful but not essential.
• Willingness to support with additional hours and off-truck duties.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team.
• Willingness to pass a drug & alcohol test prior to commencement.

Responsibilities

• Operate FLT to move pallets and load/unload goods.
• Palletising and stacking as required.
• Picking, packing and basic logistics administration.

We are seeking a committed, hardworking Warehouse Operative with a FLT Counterbalance licence to join a busy 3rd party logistics operation in Burton. You will be responsible for acting as a dedicated forklift / PPT driver as well as supporting with manual duties including picking, palletising, rework and some basic logistics admin duties.

Whilst the workload will increase on the run up to Christmas, there is absolutely the opportunity to secure a long-term career with industry leading training and personal development.

What we will require:

• In-date accredited FLT Counterbalance (B1) licence, with ideally at least 12 months driver experience


• Additional licences / MHE experience on Reach and/or VNA would be useful but not essential


• Willingness to support with additional hours


• Flexible to support with physical, off-truck duties


• Good attention to detail, team player


• Willingness to pass a drug & alcohol test prior to commencement

Hours of work - 0600-1400 / 1400-2200 (rotating weekly) or a fixed afternoon shift at another site paying £14.20 per hour + monthly attendance bonus. Rate of pay - £14.03 per hour (reviewed annually)
