Job summary

Pertemps North Midlands in Burton is seeking a committed Warehouse Operative with a FLT Counterbalance licence to join a busy 3rd party logistics operation. You will drive a forklift, pick, palletise and assist with basic logistics admin, with rotating weekly hours and the potential for a long-term career through industry-leading training and personal development.

Willing to pass a drug and alcohol test prior to commencement, with a friendly, welcoming team and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• In-date FLT Counterbalance (B1) licence with at least 12 months driving experience.
• Reach and/or VNA licences are a bonus.
• Willingness to work additional hours and rotate shifts.
• Flexible to perform off-truck duties and manual handling.
• Good attention to detail and a team player.
• Must pass drug and alcohol test prior to starting.

Responsibilities

• Operate FLT Counterbalance to move pallets and load/unload.
• Palletising, picking, and basic logistics admin duties.
• Support with off-truck, physical tasks as required.

Temp to perm opportunity

We are seeking a committed, hardworking Warehouse Operative with a FLT Counterbalance licence to join a busy 3rd party logistics operation in Burton. You will be responsible for acting as a dedicated forklift / PPT driver as well as supporting with manual duties including picking, palletising, rework and some basic logistics admin duties. Whilst the workload will increase on the run up to Christmas, there is absolutely the opportunity to secure a long-term career with industry leading training and personal development.

What we will require:

• In-date accredited FLT Counterbalance (B1) licence, with ideally at least 12 months driver experience
• Additional licences / MHE experience on Reach and/or VNA would be useful but not essential
• Willingness to support with additional hours
• Flexible to support with physical, off-truck duties
• Good attention to detail, team player
• Willingness to pass a drug & alcohol test prior to commencement

Rate of pay - £14.03 per hour (reviewed annually)
