People Solutions are recruiting for an FLT Reach Truck Driver to join our client in Lichfield, West Midlands. This role offers Monday to Friday work, ongoing opportunities, and competitive pay with overtime.

You'll operate Reach Trucks, perform daily checks, receive and dispatch goods, and ensure safety standards are met in a busy warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• A valid accredited Reach Truck licence.
• Previous experience operating a Reach Truck within a warehouse.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong spatial awareness and excellent attention to detail.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
• A reliable, self-motivated and flexible approach to work.
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operating a Reach Truck safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse.
• Carrying out daily pre-use vehicle inspections and reporting any defects promptly.
• Receiving goods into the warehouse and safely storing pallets within racking locations.
• Loading, unloading and moving stock throughout the warehouse using FLT equipment.
• Checking the quantity and visual quality of incoming and outgoing goods.
• Unpacking, storing and preparing goods for dispatch.
• Organising stock and maintaining accurate warehouse locations.
• Supporting general warehouse operations when required.
• Following all health and safety procedures and company standards at all times.

FLT Reach Truck Driver - Lichfield, West Midlands

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an FLT Reach Truck Driver to join our well-established client based in Lichfield, West Midlands.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, Monday to Friday working, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for career progression within a busy warehouse environment.

This would suit applicants who have worked as a Reach Truck Driver, FLT Driver or Forklift Truck Operator.

Rates of Pay:

• £14.57 per hour basic
• £27.10 per hour overtime

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• Rotating shifts:
• 06:00 - 14:00
• 14:00 - 22:00

Essential Skills:

To be successful as an FLT Reach Truck Driver, you will need:

• A valid accredited Reach Truck licence (RTITB, ITSSAR, AITT or equivalent)
• Previous experience operating a Reach Truck within a warehouse environment
• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong spatial awareness and excellent attention to detail
• Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
• A reliable, self-motivated and flexible approach to work
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
