Job summary

MTrec Limited is recruiting for a well-established manufacturing firm in the Prudhoe area. The role involves operating production processes, loading and unloading wagons with a counterbalance forklift, and maintaining accurate records.

You will work on a continental shift pattern, 2 x 12 hour days, 2 x 12 hour nights, followed by 4 days off, with on-site parking and employer pension. A valid counterbalance licence and commitment to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Counter-balance licence.
• Experience working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Must be able to wear PPE (safety glasses and ear protection).
• Focus on quality and ability to produce high-standard work.
• Able to work either independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Competent in operating all relevant production processes.
• Loading and unloading of wagons with a counterbalance forklift.
• Completing basic paperwork and updating computer systems.
• Work as a team with colleagues and other shifts to meet KPIs.
• Operate counterbalance forklift truck for transporting materials within the warehouse.
• Train to operate overhead cranes for transporting materials within the warehouse.
• Maintain full plant records and data sheets.
• Ensure safe operation of forklift where required.
• Assist maintenance to clean and replace production machinery.

The Hours You’ll Work;

• Continental Shift pattern

• 2 x 12 hour day shift followed by 2 x 12 hour night shift then 4 days off

• 07.00 am - 19.00pm / 19:00pm – 07:00 am

• (Must be able to work both rotations)

The Pay You’ll Receive;

• £16.47 per hour

The Job You’ll Do;

• Competent in the operation of all relevant production processes

• Loading and unloading of wagons with a counterbalance forklift truck

• Completing basic paperwork and updating computer systems

• Work as a team with colleagues and other shifts to ensure the relevant KPIs are met for the plant area

• Operation of a counterbalance forklift truck licence for transporting materials within the warehouse

• Trained to operate overhead cranes for transporting materials within the warehouse

• Accurately maintain full plant records and data sheets

• Competent to safely operate a forklift truck, as required

• Assist maintenance to clean and replace production machinery

• Able to wear the correct PPE, including safety glasses, and ear protection at all times.
