Job summary

BSW Group is hiring an FLT Driver for our York site to move raw materials and finished goods within the manufacturing area. You will operate forklifts, load/unload vehicles and kilns as needed, and perform daily checks, reporting faults to minimise downtime.

You will help ensure timber, pallets and packaging are ready to maintain quality and production standards. We value a proactive, safety-conscious approach and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Current counterbalance FLT licence (or site-specific counterbalance licence).
• Demonstrates high level of Health and Safety awareness.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy required.
• Excellent communication and team orientation.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial forklifts to move raw materials and finished products around the site.
• Load and unload vehicles and kilns as required.
• Carry out daily pre-operating checks and report faults.
• Ensure timber, pallets and packaging are available to maximise production.
• Represent the company professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
