Job summary

Meridian Business Support is recruiting for a FLT Driver in Bridgwater (TA6) on a 12-month fixed term contract. Salary £32,050.70pa (basic £29,137 with £2,913.70 shift allowance). 4 on 4 off, 12-hour shifts covering days and nights.

Roles include moving pallets, loading/unloading, and stock control in a busy FMCG warehouse. Experience with VNA/ forklift operations is desirable; full training provided. Benefits include 22 days holiday, pension, healthcare options and access to an employee

Qualifications

• Experience operating a Very Narrow Aisle forklift is desirable.

Responsibilities

We are looking for FLT Driverto join aglobal independent soft drinks manufacturerwith78 manufacturing sitesworldwide including6 sites in the UK, based inBridgwater (TA6).

12month Fixed term contract

Salary£32,050.70pa (Basic £29,137.00 with a shift allowance of £2,913.70)

4 on 4 off Rolling Shift pattern - covering days & nights

12 Hour shifts- Day: 06:00 to 18:00 / 07:00 to 19:00 & Night: 18:00 to 06:00 or 19:00 - 07:00

As a FLT Driveryou'll play a key role in keeping our fast-paced FMCG operation running smoothly by ensuring materials and finished products are stored, moved and supplied safely and efficiently. Working as part of a large logistics team, you'll support both production and dispatch, helping to ensure customer orders are delivered on time and to the highest standards..

No two shifts are the same - as a FLT Driver, you will use you experaince to move palletised goods, loading and unloading stock, preparing products for dispatch and maintaining accurate stock control. You will be operating aVery Narrow Aisle (VNA) truck, placing and retrieving stock from racking up to 16 metres high (approximately a 3-4 storey building). Previous VNA, Reach Truck or Counterbalance experience is desirable but not essential, as full VNA training will be provided. You'll also ensure all Health & Safety, Food Safety and Quality standards are followed at all times.

Ideally, you'll be someone who enjoys working in a busy warehouse environment, takes pride in working safely and accurately, and is comfortable working at height. You'll be proactive, reliable and enjoy working as part of a team to keep operations running efficiently.

FLT Driver: Key Responsibilities
