Job summary

Kinetic PLC in Wallsend is seeking FLT Drivers for long-term temporary contracts. You must hold a valid in-date Counterbalance Licence and be able to provide certification.

This night-shift role runs Monday to Thursday 10pm–6am with Friday finishing before midnight, offering £17.17 per hour for 38 hours per week. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, forklift operation, maintaining a safe, tidy area, and supporting inventory counts.

Qualifications

• Valid Forklift Truck Licence (C/B and/or Reach)
• Experience using a forklift (FLT)
• Experience loading and unloading heavy goods and materials

Responsibilities

• Ensure products are loaded onto or unloaded from machines, trucks or containers accurately and efficiently.
• Operate and monitor forklifts to move goods.
• Handle and move goods, ensuring they are secured during transport.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area around loading zones.
• Adhere to SOPs and safety guidelines.
• Assist with inventory counts and maintain stock accuracy.
• Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently.

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment.
• Valid Forklift Truck Licence (C/B and/or Reach)
• Experience using an FLT
• Previous experience loading and unloading heavy goods and materials
