Job summary

Kinetic plc is seeking a motivated FLT Driver in Wallsend to join our long-term temporary staffing solutions. The role requires a valid FLT licence (C/B and/or Reach) and offers two shift patterns with a night shift option.

You will load and unload materials, operate forklifts, and maintain a safe, tidy work area in a busy manufacturing setting. Candidates should have prior experience in manufacturing, be able to work to SOPs, and commit to accurate inventory practices.

Qualifications

• Valid Forklift Truck Licence (C/B and/or Reach).
• Experience using an FLT.
• Experience loading and unloading heavy goods and materials.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring products are loaded onto or unloaded from machines, trucks, or containers accurately and efficiently.
• Operating and monitoring forklifts to move goods.
• Handling and moving goods, ensuring they are properly secured during transport.
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area around machines and loading areas.
• Adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
• Assisting with inventory counts and ensuring accurate stock levels.
• Working with team members to complete tasks efficiently.

We have roles available on a 2 shift and nightshift pattern. £14.97 per hour (2 shift) £17.17 per hour (nightshift) 38 hours per week Responsibilities will be: Ensuring products are loaded onto or unloaded from machines, trucks, or containers accurately and efficiently.
