Job summary

Smart Solutions in Dartford is seeking an experienced FLT Driver to safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck with clamp attachment at our busy waste and recycling site.

This is a full-time, outdoor role with 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM shifts, any 5 days out of 7. Overtime is paid after 50 hours at 1.5x hourly rate. You will load/unload vehicles and support yard operations in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Valid and in-date FLT licence.
• Previous Counterbalance FLT experience.
• Experience using a clamp attachment is desirable.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety.
• Able to work outdoors in an industrial environment and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Counterbalance FLT with clamp attachment.

• Stack and organise materials within designated areas.

Shift Pattern: Any 5 days out of 7

About the Role

We are currently looking for an experienced FLT Driver to join a busy waste and recycling site.

The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) with clamp attachment to move waste and recyclable materials around the site. You will also assist with loading and unloading vehicles, stacking materials and supporting the wider yard operation.

This is a physically active, outdoor role within a busy industrial environment, so candidates must be comfortable working in all weather conditions and maintaining high standards of health and safety.
