Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd is seeking a reliable Warehouse Forklift Operative to support a busy depot in the UK. The role focuses on safety, loading and unloading, stock rotation, and accurate racking placement.

You'll work on temporary assignments with regular weekly pay, potential for extended placements, and clear pathways to longer-term opportunities within logistics.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (RTITB, ITSSAR, AITT or equivalent).
• Experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Strong awareness of health & safety procedures.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to assist with general warehouse duties when required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily forklift safety checks.
• Unload and load vehicles at the depot.
• Rotate stock and ensure inbound products are placed in the correct racking.
• Follow health & safety procedures and site regulations.
• Assist with general warehouse duties when required.

Job Description

Carrying out daily forklift safety checks

Following all company health & safety procedures and site regulations

In this role you will be unloading and loading vehicles as they come in to the depot.

You will also be responsible for stock rotation and ensuring that inbound products are put into the correct racking.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate:

• £13.25 per hour
• Overtime available at enhanced rates (subject to client requirements)
• Weekly pay (depending on agency payroll terms)
• Ongoing support from your dedicated recruitment consultant
• Opportunities for career progression within warehouse and logistics operations

Working Hours:

• Shift availability will depend on site requirements and may include:
• Late shifts: 14:00 - 22:00
• Night shifts: 22:00 - 06:00 (where available)
• Flexibility is required as shift patterns may vary depending on operational demand.

Experience & Qualifications

You will need:
