Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Forklift Truck Operator for ongoing daytime work in the Witham St Hughs area. You will safely operate a counterbalance forklift and help move stock to keep daily operations running smoothly.

This role welcomes both experienced operators and those with a valid counterbalance licence seeking to build experience. A reliable, punctual approach and adherence to Health & Safety guidelines are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence.
• Experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Reliable and punctual approach to work.
• Awareness of workplace Health & Safety procedures.
• Own transport and valid driving licence if travelling from outside the local area.

The Role

You’ll help keep day-to-day operations running smoothly by safely moving and positioning stock around the workplace.

Your duties will include:

• Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently
• Moving and positioning stock and materials
• Supporting general warehouse operations as required
• Following site procedures and Health & Safety guidelines
• Working alongside colleagues to maintain an efficient working environment

Hourly Rate: £13.75 per hour

Up to 28 days’ holiday accrued per year

Regular daytime hours

Experience & Qualifications
