Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd is seeking experienced Forklift Counterbalance Drivers to join a busy logistics operation in the UK. This is an ongoing role in a fast-paced warehouse environment, supporting movement and storage of goods.

Responsibilities include operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck, loading/unloading, moving pallets, stacking stock, and assisting with stock control. Shift patterns vary, with overtime at enhanced rates and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (RTITB, ITSSAR, AITT or equivalent).
• Previous experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Strong awareness of health & safety procedures.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to assist with general warehouse duties when required.

Job Description

We are currently recruiting experienced Forklift Counterbalance Drivers to join a busy logistics operation through an agency. This is an ongoing role within a fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment, supporting the movement and storage of goods.

Key responsibilities include:

Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently

Loading and unloading delivery vehicles

Moving pallets and stock throughout the warehouse

Stacking and storing goods in designated locations

Assisting with stock control and inventory movements

Supporting general warehouse duties when required

Carrying out daily forklift safety checks

Following all company health & safety procedures and site regulations

Hourly Rate: £13.50 per hourOvertime available at enhanced rates (subject to client requirements)Weekly pay (depending on agency payroll terms)Ongoing support from your dedicated recruitment consultantOpportunities for career progression within warehouse and logistics operations

Working Hours: Shift availability will depend on site requirements and may include:Late shifts: 14:00 – 22:00Night shifts: 22:00 – 06:00 (where available)Flexibility is required as shift patterns may vary depending on operational demand.
