Job summary

365 People Ltd. in Willenhall is seeking an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver to join a busy operation.

The role involves the safe movement, loading, unloading and storage of materials across the site, with safety, reliability and efficiency as core priorities. This hands-on role operates in a fast-paced industrial environment with a 4-on/4-off rota, weekend work, and approximately 50% FLT and 50% manual duties.

Qualifications

• A valid Accredited Counterbalance FLT licence is required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience operating a Counterbalance FLT in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
• Strong understanding of workplace health & safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck in a busy industrial environment.
• Load and unload vehicles in line with site procedures.
• Move, stack and organise products and materials throughout the yard and warehouse.
• Complete daily FLT safety checks and report any defects.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
• Follow all health & safety procedures and company policies.

FLT Counterbalance Driver - Willenhall

365 People are recruiting for an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver to join a busy operation in Willenhall.

This is a hands on role within a fast paced industrial environment, where safety, reliability and efficiency are key. You'll be responsible for the safe movement, loading, unloading and storage of materials across the site.

The Role

• £14.00 per hour
• 4 days on / 4 days off
• 7-day operation - weekend work required
• Approximately 50% FLT / 50% manual work

The successful candidate must be comfortable with heavy lifting, manual handling and general yard duties, as well as operating the FLT. Safety, reliability and a strong work ethic are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck in a busy industrial environment
• Load and unload vehicles in line with site procedures
• Willingness to work weekends as part of the 4-on/4-off rota
• Move, stack and organise products and materials throughout the yard and warehouse
• Complete daily FLT safety checks and report any defects immediately
• Ensure all materials are stored safely and correctly
• Support stock control and inventory management when required
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment
• Follow all health & safety procedures and company policies
• Assist with general yard duties when FLT work is not required
• Work closely with production and transport teams to meet operational targets

What We're Looking For

• A valid Accredited licence Counterbalance FLT licence
• Previous Counterbalance FLT experience within an industrial, manufacturing, environment - A minimum of 1 year experience is required and must be competent on the truck!
• A strong understanding of workplace health & safety
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and use initiative
• A reliable, flexible and positive approach to work
• Comfortable working in a busy, hands-on yard environment
