Job summary

Pyramid8 is seeking an experienced FLT Counterbalance Operative to join a busy manufacturing and distribution environment in Knottingley. The role requires safe movement of products and materials, plus assembly and packing support for dispatch.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid Counterbalance FLT licence, have warehouse or manufacturing experience, and be comfortable working outdoors in a hands-on role while staying reliable and safety‑conscious as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (essential).
• In-house licence accepted if current/expired.
• Experience in FLT/warehouse or manufacturing environments.
• Outdoor work may be required and hands-on approach.
• Reliability, safety-conscious and able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Counterbalance FLT to move and position products and materials.
• Load and unload vehicles safely.
• Prepare products for dispatch.
• Strap and secure packaged goods.
• Cut and prepare packaging materials.
• Carry out general warehouse and yard duties.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment.
• Work as part of a busy team to meet daily production and dispatch requirements

• Loading and unloading vehicles safely
• Preparing products for dispatch
• Strapping and securing packaged goods
• Cutting and preparing packaging materials
• Carrying out general warehouse and yard duties
• Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment
• Working as part of a busy team to meet daily production and dispatch requirements

About you:

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence essential
• Previous FLT/warehouse or manufacturing experience (in house licence will be considered/expired)
• Comfortable working outdoors when required
• Happy to be in a hands‑on role
• Reliable, safety‑conscious and able to work as part of a team
• Good attention to detail
