Job summary

Industrial Recruitment Services Ltd in Bilston is seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a busy manufacturing site. You will support goods in/out, production, and material movement across the site with a valid Counterbalance FLT licence and overhead crane experience.

The role offers a 12-week temporary-to-permanent opportunity with weekly pay, on-site parking, and day shifts from Monday to Friday. The position provides long-term prospects for the right candidate.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate Counterbalance forklift to move goods and materials.
• Operate overhead crane to assist movement of steel lengths.
• Load and unload materials efficiently.
• Maintain stock records using MRP system.
• Support production and other departments as needed.
• Carry out general factory duties and maintain a clean, safe environment.

Industrial Recruitment Services Ltd (IRS) are currently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance FLT Driver to join our client based in Bilston.

We are seeking an experienced Forklift Counterbalance Operator to join a busy manufacturing environment, supporting goods in/out, production and material movement across the site.

Candidates must have a valid, in-date accredited Counterbalance FLT licence, previous experience handling large lengths of steel and experience operating an overhead crane.

This position offers a 12-week temporary-to-permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

The Role:

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck
• Operating an overhead crane
• Handling and moving large lengths of steel
• Loading and unloading materials
• Managing goods-in and goods-out processes
• Moving materials to support production
• Supporting general factory duties when required
• Maintaining stock records using an MRP system
• Carrying out basic administrative duties
• Working closely with production and other departments
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Shift Pattern:

Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 3:45pm

Friday: 7:00am - 1:00pm

The Person:

• Valid, in-date accredited Counterbalance FLT licence essential

• Reliable with good timekeeping and attendance
