Job summary

Kinetic plc in Wallsend is seeking an FLT Driver for long-term temporary contracts. You will operate forklifts (Counterbalance) on shifts Monday to Friday with a weekly rotation between 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm, earning £14.97 per hour for a 38-hour week.

You must hold an External FLT licence and be able to provide certification. Responsibilities include loading and unloading heavy goods, moving materials, and keeping a clean, safe workspace.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid External FLT Counterbalance licence.
• Experience operating forklifts on manufacturing floors.
• Able to provide certification when required.
• Previous experience loading and unloading heavy goods.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading goods from machines, trucks or containers accurately and efficiently.
• Operate and monitor forklifts to move goods.
• Secure loads and ensure safe transport of items.
• Keep work area around machines clean and organised.
• Follow SOPs and safety guidelines.
• Assist with inventory counts to ensure accurate stock levels.
• Work with team members to complete tasks efficiently.

Working Hours

Monday-Friday 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm on weekly rotation

£14.97 per hour

38 hours per week

Responsibilities will be:

• Ensuring products are loaded onto or unloaded from machines, trucks, or containers accurately and efficiently.
• Operating and monitoring forklifts to move goods.
• Handling and moving goods, ensuring they are properly secured during transport.
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area around machines and loading areas.
• Adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
• Assisting with inventory counts and ensuring accurate stock levels.
• Working with team members to complete tasks efficiently.

Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment.
• Valid Forklift Truck Licence (Counterbalance)
• Experience using an FLT
• Previous experience loading and unloading heavy goods and materials
