Job summary

Search Consultancy LTD is recruiting an experienced FLT Driver for a Sunderland-based operation. You will safely operate Counterbalance and Reach forklifts, load/unload goods, and ensure pallets and materials are moved accurately and on time.

The role requires valid ITSSAR/RTITB certificates and prior FLT experience, with a focus on health and safety and efficient warehouse support. Monday–Friday, 10:00–18:00, full-time in a professional manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance and Reach Truck forklift certificates.
• Certificates accredited by ITSSAR or RTITB.
• Previous FLT driving experience.
• Good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible and positive approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Counterbalance and Reach forklift trucks.
• Load and unload vehicles and deliveries.
• Move, stack and store pallets, materials and finished products.
• Supply materials to relevant areas of the operation as required.
• Assist with general warehouse duties and stock movements.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and site regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable FLT Driver to join a well-established manufacturing and distribution business in Sunderland.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating both Counterbalance and Reach forklift trucks safely and efficiently, supporting warehouse operations and ensuring materials and products are moved accurately and on time.

• *RTITB or ITSSAR License is essential
