Job summary

Search Consultancy is recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver to join a manufacturing and distribution operation in Sunderland.

You will operate Counterbalance and Reach forklifts, load/unload, move pallets and support warehouse activities while following safety procedures.

RTITB or ITSSAR licenses are essential and the role is full-time, 10:00am–6:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance and Reach forklift certificates.
• Forklift certificates must be accredited by ITSSAR or RTITB.
• Previous FLT driving experience is essential.
• Good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• A flexible and positive approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Counterbalance and Reach forklift trucks.
• Load and unload vehicles and deliveries.
• Move, stack and store pallets, materials and finished products.
• Supply materials to relevant areas of the operation as required.
• Assist with general warehouse duties and stock movements.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and site regulations.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating both Counterbalance and Reach forklift trucks safely and efficiently, supporting warehouse operations and ensuring materials and products are moved accurately and on time.
