Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Ltd. is seeking two experienced 8-tonne FLT Counterbalance Operatives to join a heavy manufacturing site in Desford.

You will be responsible for safely moving materials, assisting loading/unloading operations, and ensuring smooth site activities in a rotating day/night pattern. The role requires proven experience with 8-tonne FLT, a valid licence (preferred), and the ability to pass site drug and alcohol tests.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating an 8-tonne counterbalance FLT (B2).
• Valid FLT licence preferred, subject to site requirements.
• Ability to pass a site drug and alcohol test.
• Strong safety awareness and a reliable, responsible attitude.
• Flexibility to work a rotating 4-on / 4-off days and nights shift pattern

Responsibilities

• Safely operating an 8-tonne counterbalance forklift to move, load and unload goods.
• Loading and unloading deliveries from vehicles and containers.
• Transporting materials and stock to designated storage areas.
• Completing daily FLT safety checks and reporting any faults or defects.
• Supporting general warehouse duties and maintaining a clean, safe working environment.

2x FLT Counterbalance Operative - 8 Tonne

Rate - £17.98 Per Hour

Shift Pattern

4 on / 4 off, rotating days and nights

Days: 5:30am - 6:00pm

Nights: 5:30pm - 6:00am

The Role
