Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Limited is recruiting two experienced FLT Counterbalance Operatives for a heavy manufacturing site in Desford, Leicestershire. You will move goods safely, support loading/unloading, and help maintain smooth site operations.

We require proven FLT experience (8-tonne, B2), a valid licence where required, and the ability to pass site drug and alcohol tests. Shifts are 4 on/4 off, days and nights, with early mornings and late evenings.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating an 8-tonne counterbalance FLT (B2).
• Relevant, valid FLT licence preferred, subject to site requirements.
• Ability to pass a site drug and alcohol test.
• Strong safety awareness and a reliable, responsible attitude.
• Flexibility to work a rotating 4-on / 4-off days and nights shift pattern

Responsibilities

• Safely operating an 8-tonne counterbalance forklift to move, load and unload goods.
• Loading and unloading deliveries from vehicles and containers.
• Transporting materials and stock to designated storage areas.
• Completing daily FLT safety checks and reporting any faults or defects.
• Supporting general warehouse duties and maintaining a clean, safe working environment

• 4 on / 4 off, rotating days and nights
• Days: 5:30am - 6:00pm
• Nights: 5:30pm - 6:00am
