Job summary

MTrec Recruitment proudly represents our industry-leading client in Newcastle upon Tyne, seeking an enthusiastic warehouse operative for a full-time, permanent role from day one.

You will receive, check and store deliveries, pick and pack customer orders, prepare dispatches, load/unload, and support stock checks while keeping the warehouse clean, safe and well organised. A Forklift license is required, with strong teamwork and communication essential.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience required.
• Hold a valid Forklift Truck License.
• Keen to learn and motivated.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, checking and storing deliveries
• Picking and packing customer orders accurately
• Preparing orders for dispatch
• Loading and unloading incoming and outgoing deliveries
• Checking stock and assisting with regular stock counts
• Processing customer returns
• Keeping warehouse areas clean, tidy, safe and well organised
• Ensuring products and orders are dispatched accurately and within agreed time frames
• Following warehouse procedures and Health & Safety requirements
