Job summary

Contract Personnel Ltd is recruiting a Counter Balance FLT Driver for a client in Mildenhall. The role involves safe operation of a counter‑balance forklift, loading/unloading goods, and ensuring accurate stock records.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM with weekly pay. The position offers a reliable entry into a busy manufacturing environment with potential for ongoing work across Norfolk and Suffolk.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a counter balance forklift.
• Ability to lift and move goods safely.
• Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic.
• Competent in basic computer/stock-record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles using a forklift.
• Check for damaged or missing items and report discrepancies.
• Move and store products in the designated warehouse areas.
• Process, pick and pack orders to meet deadlines.
• Record stock levels and update the warehouse system.
• Maintain clean and safe working environment and equipment.
• Operate pallets and reach trucks in a safe manner.
• Follow standard operating procedures and health & safety guidelines.

Contract Personnel is currently recruiting for Counter Balance FLT Driver for a client based in Mildenhall. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and motivated individuals looking to build a career within a busy manufacturing environment.

Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Your duties will include

• Assist with the loading and unloading of vehicles using manual handling techniques.
• Check for damaged or missing items.
• Moving and storing products in the correct warehouse area.
• Processing, picking, and packing orders in a timely manner, working to meet deadlines.
• To take materials, once received by Goods-In, and to 'put-away' within the warehouse, updating stock-levels in line with the processes above.
• Using our computer system to keep necessary records and keep paperwork up to date.
• Cleaning and maintaining warehouse equipment and general warehouse to maintain standards.
• Move pallets using a forklift or reach truck.
• Follow standard operating procedures and health and safety guidelines.
• Maintaining an inventory of the goods and raw materials in the factory or warehouse.
• Any other duties as requested by Line Manager
