Job summary

This FLT Driver role in Whittlesey is a day-shift, Monday to Friday, 1:30pm to 10:00pm, offering a 3-month temporary-to-permanent pathway and full training. Location is commutable from Peterborough and surrounding towns. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork within a modern manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Valid Fork Lift Truck (FLT) licence.
• Previous manufacturing or production experience desirable.
• Ability to work to quality and safety standards.
• Experience monitoring machinery and reporting faults.
• Comfortable carrying out product quality checks.
• Full UK driving licence due to site location.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate Fork Lift Trucks.
• Operate production machinery, with full training provided.
• Produce high-quality products in line with required standards.
• Monitor machinery performance and report any issues.
• Carry out product quality checks and elevate concerns where required.
• Carry out manual handling and movement of products.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping standards and support 5S activities, including daily cleaning.
• Work as part of a multi-skilled production team within a modern manufacturing environment.

DAYS ONLY, Monday to Friday, 1:30pm to 10:00pm. Temporary to Permanent role, joining a recognised industry leader as an FLT Driver. We are looking for a reliable and proactive FLT Driver who enjoys working as part of a team, maintaining high standards and supporting continuous improvement. • Overtime available at enhanced rates of 1.5x and 2x after 48 hours
