JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking an FLT Counterbalance Operative to work in Runcorn, Cheshire. The role is a full-time, ongoing temporary assignment with potential permanent prospects for the right candidate.

It involves safe movement and storage of goods in a busy warehouse, with a 4-on/4-off rotating shift pattern and 12-hour shifts. A valid counterbalance licence and proven forklift experience are essential.

• Previous experience operating forklift trucks within a warehouse or logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift trucks safely and efficiently in accordance with site procedures and health & safety regulations.
• Load and unload goods from vehicles accurately and without damage.
• Transport materials to designated storage and production areas.
• Carry out daily pre-use equipment checks and report any defects.
• Assist with stock movement, stock rotation, and general warehouse duties when required.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
• Follow all company quality standards and operational procedures.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and colleagues to achieve daily operational targets.

FLT Counterbalance Operative required in Runcorn, Cheshire, for an ongoing temporary assignment with permanent prospects for the right candidate. This full-time position pays £15.03 per hour and follows a 4-on/4-off pattern of rotating 12-hour shifts, covering two days followed by two nights. You will handle the safe movement and storage of goods within a busy logistics warehouse. A valid counterbalance licence and proven experience are essential. Duties involve loading and unloading vehicles, replenishing stock, and maintaining accurate records. Reliability and a strong commitment to safety are paramount. Applicants should possess good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Essential Requirements

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Reliable with excellent timekeeping.
• Willingness to work a rotating 4 on / 4 off shift pattern covering both days and nights.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Experience operating a keg clamp attachment is preferred but not essential , as training may be available for the right candidate.
• Previous experience working in a high-volume warehouse or distribution environment.
• Experience working rotating day and night shifts.
• Basic IT or handheld scanner experience.
• A positive, flexible, and proactive attitude towards work.
