Xpert Recruitment Solutions Ltd is currently recruiting experienced Counterbalance FLT Drivers for permanent opportunities within a busy warehouse and production environment. Candidates must hold a valid, in-date external Counterbalance FLT licence and have a good understanding of warehouse operations and health and safety procedures.

Immediate starts available with permanent employment and competitive hourly rates.

Responsibilities

• Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
• Move, stack and organise stock within the warehouse.
• Load and unload goods from production areas.
• Load products onto MAV.
• Pick orders and handle materials as required.
• Transfer stock between warehouse and production areas.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Follow all company health and safety procedures.

Job description

Xpert Recruitment Solutions Ltd is currently recruiting experienced Counterbalance FLT Drivers for permanent opportunities within a busy warehouse and production environment.

Candidates must hold a valid, in-date external Counterbalance FLT licence and have a good understanding of warehouse operations and health and safety procedures.

Shift Patterns & Pay Rates

• Rotating Shifts – £14.82 per hour
  • 5:00am – 1:00pm
  • 1:00pm – 9:00pm
• Weekend & Night Shifts
  • Saturday: 6:00am – 6:00pm – £16.23 per hour
  • Sunday: 10:00am – 10:00pm – £16.23 per hour
  • Nights: 9:00pm – 5:00am, either Monday and Tuesday or Wednesday and Thursday – £16.93 per hour

The weekend/night position offers a 40-hour weekly contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
• Moving, stacking and organising stock within the warehouse.
• Loading and unloading goods from production areas.
• Loading products onto MAV.
• Picking orders and handling materials as required.
• Transferring stock between warehouse and production areas.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Following all company health and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Valid, in-date external Counterbalance FLT licence (essential).
• Previous warehouse or production experience desirable.
• Safe and competent forklift operating skills.
• Good attention to detail and a strong safety awareness.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Ability to work the relevant shift pattern.
• Successful completion of a drug and alcohol test at interview is required.
