Job summary

Interaction Recruitment in Wallsend is seeking an experienced forklift driver to join our busy transport team. You will operate Counterbalance or Reach forklifts, load and unload vehicles, and move pallets within the warehouse.

The ideal candidate has a valid forklift licence, previous forklift experience, and a strong focus on health and safety. Immediate start available, with hours 7:00am–6:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Counterbalance forklift licence.
• Previous forklift experience is required.
• Experience in transport/logistics/warehouse environments preferred.
• Good awareness of health and safety.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Available for an immediate start.

Responsibilities

• Operating Counterbalance or Reach forklifts safely and efficiently.

• Moving and storing pallets and goods within the warehouse/yard.
• Loading goods for delivery and collection.

• Following all health and safety procedures.
• Working with drivers, warehouse staff and transport teams.

FORKLIFT DRIVER – IMMEDIATE START

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance or Reach Forklift Driver to join our busy transport company.

£13.00 per hour
Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 6:00pm
1-hour break
Immediate start available

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operating Counterbalance or Reach forklifts safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Moving and storing pallets and goods within the warehouse/yard
• Loading goods ready for delivery and collection
• Assisting with the safe movement of freight and transport equipment
• Checking goods for damage and reporting any issues
• Ensuring loads are secure and handled safely
• Keeping the warehouse and loading areas clean and organised
• Following all health & safety procedures
• Working closely with drivers, warehouse staff and transport teams
• Carrying out other general warehouse duties as required

Requirements:
