Job summary

Adecco is recruiting for a Forklift Driver (Counterbalance & Reach) in Basildon. The role is a temporary to permanent position with an immediate start and £13.00 per hour.

You will join a busy warehouse team, operating both forklift trucks, loading/unloading, stock movement, and order preparation. A reliable, detail-oriented team player is essential for long-term prospects.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
• Valid Reach Forklift Licence.
• Previous warehouse and forklift experience.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Operate Counterbalance and Reach forklift trucks safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload vehicles and move stock around the warehouse.
• Pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch.
• Carry out stock checks and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Support the warehouse team with general duties as required.

Are you an experienced Forklift Driver looking for your next opportunity? We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in Basildon for a reliable and hardworking Forklift Driver to join their busy warehouse team on a temporary to permanent basis.

Duties Include:

• Operating both Counterbalance and Reach Forklift Trucks safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Moving stock throughout the warehouse
• Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch
• Carrying out stock checks and inventory duties
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Supporting the warehouse team with general duties as required

Requirements:

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
• Valid Reach Forklift Licence
• Previous warehouse and forklift experience
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
