Job summary

Driver Hire in Sandbach is seeking an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver for a 12-week temporary-to-permanent role. You will operate the FLT, move stock around the site and assist with loading/unloading vehicles, with duties including stock itemising and categorising materials. Consistent weekday hours and a potential permanent position await the right candidate.

Location: Sandbach, Cheshire. Assignment rate: £14.30 per hour. Hours are Monday-Thursday 06:00–14:00 and Friday 06:00–12:00.

Qualifications

• A valid FLT Counterbalance licence is essential.
• Previous experience operating an FLT in a warehouse or industrial environment.
• Good attention to detail when handling, identifying and categorising stock.
• A flexible, hands-on approach to warehouse work.
• A positive, reliable and hardworking attitude.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The Role

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our well-established client, a fabrication specialist based in Sandbach, Cheshire, for an experienced and reliable FLT Counterbalance Driver to join their team.

This is a 12-week temporary-to-permanent opportunity, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating an FLT Counterbalance truck both inside and outside the warehouse, moving stock around the site and assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles. The role will also involve general warehouse operative duties, stock control, itemising stock and categorising materials around the site.

Hours of Work

• Monday to Thursday: 06:00-14:00


• Friday: 06:00-12:00
