Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver at Trafford Park. This temp-to-perm role offers a rotating 4-on-4-off shift pattern (days and nights) with a starting pay of £14.33 per hour and overtime at £19.04 per hour after 48 hours.

You will operate counterbalance forklifts and other MHE to load, unload, and move stock. Applicants should hold a valid Counterbalance FLT licence and have warehouse experience.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT Licence – Essential
• Previous warehouse experience.
• Experience operating a double pallet forklift is preferred, although training may be provided.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate counterbalance forklifts and other MHE.

• Follow all company health & safety procedures.
• Ensure stock is handled accurately and safely at all times.

FLT Driver – Temp to Perm role | Trafford Park

Location: Trafford Park

Pay Rate: £14.33 per hour and Overtime rate is £19.04p/h over 48 hours a week

Shifts: 4 on 4 off rotating with 2days shift (7am to 7pm) and 2 Night shift (7pm to7am)

The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver to join a major logistics supplier based in Trafford Park.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced forklift driver looking for Temp to Perm full time work within a fast-paced warehouse environment. There is also the potential for a long-term position following a successful temporary period of 12 weeks.

Break Information

Breaks: 75 minutes total — 3 × 15-minute breaks and 1 × 30-minute break.
