Job summary

Proman is recruiting for a Counter Balance Forklift Driver in Salford to join a leading manufacturer of hygiene, baby and beauty products. You will operate a Counterbalance FLT and perform general warehouse duties, including loading/unloading, moving stock, stacking goods, and supporting daily operations.

The ideal candidate will hold an in-date Counterbalance FLT licence, a PPT certification, and prior FLT experience.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Counterbalance FLT licence (in-date and accredited).
• Hold a PPT certification.
• Have previous experience in a similar FLT role.
• Be confident working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Demonstrate strong awareness of health and safety procedures.

Proman are currently recruiting for a FLT Counter Balance Driver for our client in Salford. Our client is a leading manufacturer of hygiene, baby and beauty products.

This role will involve operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently, alongside general FLT-related warehouse duties. You will be responsible for loading and unloading deliveries, moving stock around the warehouse and yard, stacking and storing goods correctly, and supporting overall warehouse operations.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a valid Counterbalance FLT licence (in-date and accredited)
• Hold a PPT certification
• Have previous experience in a similar FLT role
• Be confident working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Demonstrate strong awareness of health and safety procedures
• Be reliable, punctual, and a good team player

Hours and pay rate:

Our client operates a 3 week shift rotation listed below:

Week 1- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 7am-7pm- Days

Week 2- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 7pm-7am- Nights

Week 3- Thursday and Friday 7pm-7am- Nights

Successful candidates need to be able to work all shifts listed above.

When working on Days, the pay rate is £15.94 per hour and when on nights, it is £19.42. Overtime is paid after the completion of 36.5 hours per week.
