Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting an experienced FLT Driver for ad hoc shifts at a busy Trafford Park warehouse. You will operate counterbalance forklifts, load and unload goods, and move stock within a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a valid counterbalance licence, previous warehouse experience, and reliability. Shifts are typically 1–2 days per week, 7:00am–7:00pm, with breaks; a potential long‑term position may arise after a temporary period.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT Licence – Essential.
• Previous warehouse and counterbalance experience.
• Experience operating a double pallet forklift preferred; training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate counterbalance forklifts and other MHE.
• Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
• Move and organise stock within the warehouse.
• Operate double pallet forklifts where required.
• Pick, pack and stage customer orders.
• Complete routine forklift and equipment safety checks.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
• Follow all company health & safety procedures.
• Ensure stock is handled accurately and safely at all times.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced forklift driver looking for flexible, ad hoc work within a fast-paced warehouse environment. There is also the potential for a long-term position following a successful temporary period.

What We're Looking For

Shift & Break Information

Working hours: 7:00am – 7:00pm Shifts: Ad hoc, typically 1–2 days per week between Monday to Wednesday. Breaks: 75 minutes total — 3 × 15-minute breaks and 1 × 30-minute break.
