Job summary

Join DHL Supply Chain in Derby as a Flow Room Manager, coordinating order flow and supporting warehouse automation to drive performance. You’ll work with engineering and maintenance to minimise downtime and produce actionable reports from performance data.

This role requires leadership experience in logistics or warehouse environments, and comfort with WMS/WCS and analytics to continuously improve operations. Core hours Monday–Friday, with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Have leadership or supervisory experience within a warehouse, logistics, inventory, systems, or operational support environment.
• Are comfortable working with WMS, WCS, automation systems, or other operational technologies.
• Enjoy analysing data, identifying trends, and using insights to improve performance.
• Have strong system skills and are confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Champion continuous improvement and enjoy finding better ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Prioritising and allocating customer orders to ensure work is distributed effectively across the operation.
• Monitoring automation, warehouse systems, and operational dashboards to identify and resolve issues quickly.
• Working closely with engineering and maintenance teams to coordinate preventative maintenance and minimise downtime.
• Producing reports and analysing performance data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
• Leading and supporting the team, including performance management, absence management, and colleague development.
