Job summary

Dematic is seeking a diligent maintenance/support technician in Leicester to provide first-line support for all equipment within the Dematic contract. You will help maintain smooth product flow, adhere to safety standards, and assist with faults alongside the engineering team.

The role requires basic IT knowledge, a commitment to safe working practices, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement and customer relations.

Qualifications

• Basic key-skills and basic IT competency required.
• SafePass, CSCS Card (desirable).
• Previous experience/knowledge of automated systems, warehouse or production environment.
• Working at height experience (desirable).
• Demonstratable history of safe working and contribution towards a positive working culture.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Health & Safety legislation and promote a positive H&S culture.
• Maintain product flow at all times.
• Provide first-line support to equipment in scope of the Dematic contract.
• Provide basic fault resolution and support complex faults with engineering team.
• Assist in maintenance and breakdown situations with the engineering team.
• Work within manufacturers' recommendations and industry standard practices.
• Drive 5S and value-add practices across site.
• Prioritise multiple system faults and ensure output quality.
• Accurately record all work undertaken and contribute to continuous improvement and sales opportunities.
• Represent the company in a professional manner and maintain customer relations.
